Retreating for Health

I host retreats and nutritional cleanses throughout the year. My retreats cater to women, but my nutritional cleanses are open to all. My nutritional cleanses are online from the comfort of your home through Zoom classes and a good way to get to know me at a low cost (currently $30) for two weeks of guidance, but you do have to buy your fruits and vegetables. But both the retreats and the nutritional cleanses are an investment in your health.

I wanted to dedicate a little time here to help explain why my health retreats are beneficial to women who are seeking to improve their health.

1. Improved health may come to those who are actively engaging in learning and activities that help them pay attention to areas of weakness in the body and take action to improve it. My retreats give my health seekers a weekend of health; starting on Friday right after lunch to ending Sunday after brunch. This is a time to be away from distractions (internal and external) to focus solely on their health. My dear friend Shari, a professional raw vegan Retreat Chef of many years, provides healthy, wholesome and not denatured snacks and meals to our participants. She provides a meal demo to help you understand how you can make dish or two and she gives you information on lifestyle changes.

2. In addition to being a Holistic nutritional coach, a school trained herbalist, I am a certified YT-200 instructor; so we do yoga and stretching daily. This past retreat I gifted each lady with a Yoga strap in addition to gifting them with a yoga mat as a steadfast gift. I like to stress the importance of intentional moving daily and establishing a movement practice so that my participants have the tools they need to take with them and continue moving for health.

3. I share information that I have researched and often gift each participant with a recipe book and several books in a gift bag that lasts them for quite some time in their future. We also have more social activities that involve making vision boards, adult coloring, sharing circle, meditation and this year we made a fermented food that they could take home with them. As we made this food we discussed the benefits of the foods and eating more natural and no processed foods.

4.My retreats are small but comfortable, each participant has their own bed in their own room at a beautiful beach house that I rent from a lovely friend who manages her parent’s property. We get a chance to walk the neighborhood and to the ocean as it is right within 500 yards or less if that much, from this lovely beach front home. We get to hear the ocean speak to us when we wake and tuck us in before we sleep.

We learn so many things that help us make health a priority and why; and to help us manage how to incorporate it into our busy schedules when we return home. Sustainment tools are shared, and should my participants need to re-group or reset at least they know some methods and tools it takes to bring themselves back To Their Best Health!
